Speedy deletion nomination of Docs Who Care edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Docs Who Care requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.  GILO   A&E 17:03, 13 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Help edit

My name is Christy Forquer and am brand new to Wikipedia -- meaning I am the admin assistant to Gary Morsch - who several years ago had a wiki page created but it hasn't been maintained. He has asked me to learn how to add more current information to the page and how to delete any out dated material I thought I was understanding how to add update information to his wiki entry....but it appears I have violated the wiki procedures today 3/13/16. I saw where one of the organizations which he founder and is currently the president of didn't have an external link - Docs Who Care - I thought I was simply updating it the most current web address. I also deleted what was a link to an external page that no longer existed - Manhattan Initiative. it appears I did this incorrectly.

Please let me know how I can get back on the right track with Wiki. I want to learn the correct process in which to provide the most current and reliable information concerning Dr. Morsch as possible.

Thank you Christy Forquer

There are several issues here. Firstly, if you are not Dr Gary Morsch, your Wikipedia username should not suggest that you are. Please make use of Special:GlobalRenameRequest to request a change of username. Secondly, you should take a look at the Wikipedia Foundation's Terms of Use, particularly the section on "Paid contributions without disclosure", and make sure you comply with the disclosure requirements explained there. Regarding the article on Gary Morsch, Wikipedia content should be based on reliable third-party sources such as newspapers or reputable magazines that report on Morsch in some detail. Currently the article cites no such sources. If it cannot be improved, that would mean that Dr Morsch currently does not meet Wikipedia's standards of notability, and we should not have an article about him.
