Featuring your work on Wikipedia's front page: DYKs edit

Thank you for your recent articles, including Palmiry massacre, which I read with interest. When you create an extensive and well referenced article, you may want to have it featured on Wikipedia's main page in the Did You Know section. Articles included there will be read by thousands of our viewers. To do so, add your article to the list at T:TDYK. Let me know if you need help, Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 07:22, 13 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

This deadline is relaxed for new contributors; submit your DYK, note it is your first, and I'll review it. Regarding language, there is the Wikipedia:Guild of copyeditors, but I think their request list has months-long backlog. You can also ask at WT:POLAND and such, but we only have few active users, so you can't know if your post will attract attention (but no harm in trying). You may also want to submit your work for a B-class review (at WP:POLAND), Wikipedia:Peer review and WP:GAN, all designed to increase one's article visibility and quality. Cheers, --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 02:29, 14 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

WikiProject assessment tags for talk pages edit

Thank you for your recent articles, including Siedliska massacre, which I read with interest. When you create a new article, can you add the WikiProject assessment templates to the talk of that article? See the talk page of the article I mentioned for an example of what I mean. Usually it is very simple, you just add something like {{WikiProject Keyword}} to the article's talk, with keyword replaced by the associated WikiProject (ex. if it's a biography article, you would use WikiProject Biography; if it's a United States article, you would use WikiProject United States, and so on). You can also use a friendly script for that. You do not have to rate the article if you do not want to, others will do it eventually. Those templates are very useful, as they bring the articles to a WikiProject attention, and allow them to start tracking the articles through Wikipedia:Article alerts and other tools. For example, WikiProject Poland relies on such templates to generate listings such as Article Alerts, Popular Pages, Quality and Importance Matrix and the Cleanup Listing. Thanks to them, WikiProject members are more easily able to defend your work from deletion, or simply help try to improve it further. Feel free to ask me any questions if you'd like more information about using those talk page templates. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 15:38, 13 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

I've started this article - I think you may be interested in this. Or creating an equivalent on Polish Wikipedia? Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 03:55, 1 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Piotrus: Sorry for the late response, I've just back from family trip. I would gladly help to expand this article. One question: do you intend to limit its scope only to the Invasion of Poland of 1939? I think it would be interesting to include also the issue of treatment of Polish POWs in German POW camps. Also, we could consider including the issue of treatment of soldiers of the Home Army who were taken prisoner during the Warsaw Uprising. Regarding the pl.wiki, I have a plan to write (hopefully this year) an article with overall description of German war crimes during the September Campaign.Dreamcatcher25 (talk) 16:00, 3 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
The scope certainly includes post-September Campaign times, I've added one paragraph about this, but I could not find additional sources so far. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 02:33, 4 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for June 5 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited German atrocities committed against Polish prisoners of war, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dulag. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
