License tagging for File:Sbarger2edit.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Sbarger2edit.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 02:05, 3 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Image problems edit

Please stop uploading images for which you fail to add the appropriate necessary details, or whose details you don't have. We take copyright status very seriously and the images you uploaded don't have this information, so have been nominated for deletion. Because you did not take the photos yourself and they are clearly copyright to someone else you need to get WP:PERMISSION from the copyright holder otherwise they will likely be deleted without that permission. You may find it useful to read my image copyright information page. Good luck. ww2censor (talk) 03:23, 3 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:4694 angels-go-global-06 04700300.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on File:4694 angels-go-global-06 04700300.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ww2censor (talk) 03:02, 7 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Oaklandhellsangelspatch.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Oaklandhellsangelspatch.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Dealing with article disputes edit

Hi. Several times recently, content has been removed from Sonny Barger partially on the suspicion that it has been copied or closely paraphrases a non-free source. Please see Wikipedia:Copy-paste. I'm not familiar with the source, so I don't know if this is a major concern with this content or not, but I can see that there are some quotes that are not properly handled according to our policy. Every quote has to have a citation that includes a page number from which it was taken. If you are drawing information from a book (being careful not to take too closely from the source), it's a good idea to cite your source whenever the page number from which you are getting your information changes. That helps our readers verify that content is factual and helps other editors to check to make sure that material complies with our copyright policies. (Not that I'm saying you have not, but they do tend to check things like that when large amounts of text are added, as unfortunately a lot of people are not familiar with our policies.)

Wikipedia very much welcomes your contributions, but since it is a collaborative project, sometimes it is necessary to talk to other editors, if they have concerns about your additions. Every article has a talk page where you can go to discuss its development. This one is located at Talk:Sonny Barger. It would probably be helpful if you would go to that page to talk about the concerns these editors have. You can edit that page just as you edit the article itself, except that after you type what you have to say, you "sign" it by adding four tildes (~~~~). That lets people know your username (or, if you aren't logged in, your IP) and what time you said it.

If you have any questions whatsoever about this, please feel free to come by my talk page at User talk:Moonriddengirl. While I'm not involved in editing that article in any way, I am an administrator on Wikipedia and pretty familiar with the environment. I'm happy to do what I can to help you work with the other editors in resolving these concerns. :) --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:33, 28 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 22:13, 29 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
