Hi Dr. Kadzi - I'd like to work with you to create a page on Wiki like you did with Niceland Seafood. How can I contact you? Beansmandenver (talk) 23:39, 22 April 2021 (UTC)

I did not create that page, I only accepted it from a draft. Feel free to start one yourself at Wikipedia:Articles for creation.   Kadzi  (talk) 14:59, 23 April 2021 (UTC)

MBC Group vs Middle East Broadcasting Center

Hello Dr Kadzi, Hope this message finds you well. May you please provide the reason the proposed name change is contested? Below is the official website of the company, and as you can see there is no mention of the previous name. MBC GROUP Many thanks.Mahmouddigitalink (talk) 21:49, 25 April 2021 (UTC)

A quick google also shows reference to 'Middle East Broadcasting Center' and will need discussing, please feel free to post a further argument on the talk page ~~~   Kadzi  (talk) 21:53, 25 April 2021 (UTC)

Have done so. Thank you.Mahmouddigitalink (talk) 21:58, 25 April 2021 (UTC)

It will be discussed and hopefully a consensus will be reached soon   Kadzi  (talk) 22:00, 25 April 2021 (UTC)

METO (disambiguation)

Hi Dr Kadzi, I created this disambiguation page because there are 2 entities that use(d) the same name and are commonly associated with the same acronym, METO: 1- a historic military alliance during the Cold war, dissolved in 1979, originally known as Middle East Treaty Organisation or Baghdad Pact, and subsequently renamed to CENTO 2- a present-day NGO active in international relations in the field of disarmament and non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, Middle East Treaty Organization. This organization is commonly referred to as METO by practitioners and partner organizations.

These entities are not related, have dissimilar purposes, and do not even cover the same geographic area, nor involve the same member countries or states.

This disambiguation page is necessary to prevent confusion pursuant to the similar names of these different entities. Kindly remove the speedy deletion warning, thank you.~~Beetheory~~

  • @Beetheory: The page therefore would still not need a disambiguation page - at most is required, is a hatnote on the METO page saying Did you mean the CENTO page ..   Kadzi  (talk) 21:37, 26 April 2021 (UTC)

Your draft article, Draft:James Kennedy (musician)

Hi Dr. Kadzi! I'm writing in response to your concern on the draft page about the authorship of the draft. The content is being created by myself (Cat) at Konic Records in order to start a wiki page on James. His fans will undoubtedly take over the editing from there. The page has been created on the Konic Records computer as we are all working from home at the moment. Almost all of the sources are mainstream magazines like Guitar Magazine, Classic Rock, Kerrang and Music Insider and I have amended the writing tone in alignment with your previous feedback. I hope that clears up the authorship concern and I hope we can begin to start our wiki on James. Many thanks, Cat

  • Hi Cat, firstly please make sure to sign your posts with four 'tildes' (Four of these: ~) otherwise it makes it harder to see who posted here. ((it automatically becomes your username))

As you have a conflict of interest you are required to declare that, please see the instructions here WP:DISCLOSE I'll also leave a notice on your page. It is not recommended that you take the course of action of creating the article yourselves as it may render you liable to writing overtly biased towards the person in question and should ideally be left to the 'fans' in the first instance, that being said, if you feel that the article is unbiased and has reliable sources then please feel free to resubmit it for review.   Kadzi  (talk) 15:47, 28 April 2021 (UTC)

Hey Dr. Kadzi! Thanks for the info, that makes a lot of sense. I have read the COI page and have added a COI notice to the editing summary. I will not be making any further contribution to the page other than setting it up and entering the basic information currently seen on the page, the purposes of which were just to establish which James Kennedy the page is referring to. I am confident that others will take over from here. I hope the page can reach your approval. Thanks again, CatKonicRecords (talk) 16:09, 28 April 2021 (UTC)

@KonicRecords Although anybody can contribute to a draft, it is far less likely that anybody would contribute one rather than an actual page - this is due to them not being published on Google etc. I would go over your article again and compare it to other similar musicians' articles. There are a few 'fluff' words and phrases throughout. Wikipedia:Fluff
For example, in the sentence : 'Notable features of his work are diverse musical eclecticism and topical lyrics' you have used the words 'eclecticism' and 'notable' and 'topical' which are all very positive and 'fluff' words. It should all be in a neutral, and factual tone that one would expect to read in an encyclopaedia, rather than a review or fanpage. ((Also, the source that you referenced for that sentence appears to be an album review from metaltalk, a review would likely contain copious amounts of subjective information and opinion rather than fact)). Just this sentence therefore, is likely not necessary for the article or could be reworded to just give the facts.   Kadzi  (talk) 16:19, 28 April 2021 (UTC)

Hi Dr. Kadzi, that makes total sense. Ok, maybe this page isn't ready to be made yet. I have taken all of your points onboard and thanks so much for the detailed feedback on the content. I am now much more educated on the process and will park this up. Thanks Dr! CatRoshan (talk) 16:25, 28 April 2021 (UTC)

No worries good luck with it, from preliminarily looking this musician up, there isn't 'no' hope for him to be notable enough for an article, it just needs rewording. Leave a message here anytime if you need assistance ((( and please remember to add the conflict of interest tags to your new account (or old one if you rename it))).   Kadzi  (talk) 16:29, 28 April 2021 (UTC)
