Sir, I would like to know how i would go about getting a copy of this file , I haven"t seen this picture since i was a little boy,. Would like to access the highest resolution available so it may be reproduced for our family . He was my great grandfather. - When you say 'file', do you mean the photo? I retrieved the version at http://memory.loc.gov/master/pnp/cwpb/06200/06290u.tif and then used Photoshop to clean up the messy parts of the photo. The highest res version I have from that process is at http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/d/db/Richard_Taylor.jpg I could create a higher res version by repeating the cleanup process if you aren't comfortable with doing that yourself.
