The link I put in was to the Wikipedia page on the Catalina Highway - which itself is well referenced - which is the "40 mi" road referenced in the article. Perhaps I get the feeling people didn't actually click through and look? Re-adding...will include your ref. Dmpf (talk) 20:13, 21 April 2024 (UTC)

The official story is that a Wikipedia article is not considered acceptable reference because anybody and everybody can add information (or misinformation). A bit much, but one can see the point. Barefoot through the chollas (talk) 15:05, 22 April 2024 (UTC)
