Greetings edit

Hi their. I noticed that you are editing quit a few Assyrian related pages. I was wondering if you wanted to join Wikipedia:WikiProject Assyria. I am currently working on modern-related topics, but it would be great if you could help us out with the ancient kings. Thank you. Chaldean 18:45, 16 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi their again. Throughout time, you will get more comptrable with wikipedia and understand how everything works. In the meantime, why don't you edit your user page, where you can write a little about yourself. Take a look at an example. As for which pages to edit. Well you are free to work on any Assyrian related page. But the ones that are needed to be worked on the most are put in a category. Go back to Wikipedia:WikiProject Assyria - and look at the statistics on the right side. Do you see where it says "Stub"? These pages have little or no info, thus should be worked on first. Just click on the "Stub" and it will give you the list. You can work on any of these pages if you like. If your going to work on Assyrian related project, then by all means, add your name in the list. Chaldean 21:09, 16 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
Oh and note that Adiabene related pages are considered to be Assyrian related as well, since it was an Assyrian kingdom that was formed after the fall of the empire. And note how in hte "New Articles" section we have Battle of Diyala River and Battle of Nairi listed. Again, you can work on anything you can see. Chaldean 21:10, 16 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Djaser, I went back to the source [[1]] and all it says is Ashurbanipal. I am really not sure which Ashurbanipal it is, but your more the expert about this, so please go ahead and make the right edits. By the way, do you want me to add you to the Assyrai wikiproject? Years under control edit

Hey their Djaser. I was flipping through some of the Assyrian king pages and realized that the years were not matching to the King of Assyria list. Which one is right? Chaldean 18:57, 24 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Well what we need to do is stick to one list and go with it and in the Kings of Assyria [page]], specifically state which list is the years are coming from. I dont know how we can choose which one is the most accurate? Perhaps just see which one is listed the most by websites and books? Not too sure. Chaldean 15:01, 28 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
You decide which list you want to follow and I'll help you change all the years. Chaldean 15:10, 28 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ashurbanipal edit

Hello Djaser,

This is in response to your question which you directed towards Chaldean about the picture of the stela of Ashurbanipal. It does in fact belong to Ashurbanipal; that stela commemorated his restoration of a temple in Babylon sometime in the mid 7th century BC. As you can see he is shown carrying a basket over his head which symbolized his role in the restoration of the temple at Esagila, Babylon. :)Šarukinu 21:59, 25 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Oh, haha I'm so sorry about that. Cheers mate :)Šarukinu 21:59, 25 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
