September 2013 edit

Hello, I'm Besieged. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Kevin Clifton, but that you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. besiegedtalk 20:14, 26 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Unecyclopedic entries involving negative, unsourced information to biographies of living persons is not acceptable, and will always be reverted. Edits to pages regarding living persons must conform to WP:BLP. Please also see WP:NOTSCANDAL. Thank you. besiegedtalk 20:33, 26 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Kevin Clifton. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. besiegedtalk 21:42, 26 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Kevin Clifton with this edit, you may be blocked from editing. ///EuroCarGT 22:00, 26 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia is not somewhere to "get the truth out". If you do not have a cite about this information, per Wikipedia policy about biographies of living people, it will be removed every time on sight. You'll understand this is a policy to prevent libellous lies against people. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 22:07, 26 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 22:20, 26 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
