Speedy deletion nomination of Institute for Cultural Diplomacy edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Institute for Cultural Diplomacy, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Username edit

Hi, I see you have created an account named after an organization. Please take a look at these two sections of the username policy: Wikipedia:Username policy#Promotional names and Wikipedia:Username_policy#Usernames_implying_shared_use

I'd be happy to help you pick a more appropriate name, and transition to that account. Please let me know on my talk page if you'd like help. -Pete (talk) 15:43, 31 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

August 2015 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for making legal threats or taking legal action. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

You are not allowed to edit Wikipedia while the threats stand or the legal action is unresolved.  Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 11:32, 5 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

It doesn't give me any pleasure to see this account blocked, and it could be unblocked if the legal threats against User:Benjamin Mako Hill in February 2013 were lifted. Please also bear in mind that the conflict of interest guidelines apply if you are involved with the subject of the article. The reason why the article has been deleted several times in the past is that the sourcing was not convincing enough to meet the general notability guideline.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 16:31, 5 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
The additional reason this account was blocked was that its name contravenes our naming policy per above. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 11:58, 7 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
