Scientists edit

  1. People who have reached the position of full professor at major universities have inevitably published much more than the average scientist, and therefore meet WP:PROF. Such articles are always upheld at Afd. I am therefore removing the PROD on Neil Risch . I cannot prevent you from taking it to AfD, but it will be a speedy keep almost certainly.
  2. Noah Rosenberg is more dubious. He is just an Assistant professor, but he had published 45 papers in very good journals. It might be taken to AfD, it is worth a discussion. Most but not all assistant professors are deleted there--it would depend on the citations to his work. I placed a notability tag, & I leave it to your judgment.
  3. Pardis Sabeti is interesting. She's just a postdoc, which is rarely notable, but he has received awards that have been documented in RSs, and thus meets the general notability requirement. I can foresee an interesting discussion if you bring it to AfD,as I think you should. I do not know what the community will decide.

Please try to discriminate when you place prods. Good work on spotting Rosenberg and Sardis, though. I notice your user name, but I point out that Risch & Sabeti both have documentation, DGG (talk) 18:02, 29 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
