License tagging for Image:B in the Mix- The Remixes.JPG edit

Thanks for uploading Image:B in the Mix- The Remixes.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 04:05, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:OopsIDidItAgainCdSingle01.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:OopsIDidItAgainCdSingle01.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 13:36, 9 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Remixes and versions lists edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Also, please remember that although an official remix or alternate version may exist, it is not always notable enough to be mentioned in an encyclopedia. Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. Thanks. Extraordinary Machine 23:43, 22 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Birthdates for soap characters edit

Unless a character is born on screen, we do not put birth dates. These can change from year to year and are generally "celebrated" as a plot point, not an actual celebration of the date. Example, there was no mention that John died on Sami and Eric's birth date. You can put a date of birth if it happens on screen, but avoid putting ages. You had Marlena Evans as 45 when she's been on the show over 30 years and was not 15 when she arrived. Diedre Hall herself is in her 60s. Thank you for understanding.IrishLass0128 14:20, 5 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:GamesSingleScan.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:GamesSingleScan.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 22:09, 30 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits edit

You have been asked more than once to stop adding unsourced information, yet you continue to do so, here in Lindsay Lohan. You also have been asked not to add remixes and versions lists of songs without providing a citation, but you did so again here in In My Pocket.
This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. The next time you add unsourced information to Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. Ward3001 (talk) 01:46, 3 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

In your recent edit to No Strings Attached ('N Sync album), you added links to an article which did not add content or meaning, repeating the same blue links that were already linked the article. Please see Wikipedia's guideline on links to avoid overlinking. Ward3001 (talk) 01:46, 3 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Tigers edit

Hey. When you update Tigers stats, can you wait a day until all the stats are updated officially? It looks better when the RBI, HR, etc. match the up-to-date stats? Like, make sure that the avg is right, etc? --Elliskev 02:07, 26 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Lost Boys: The Tribe (soundtrack) edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Lost Boys: The Tribe (soundtrack), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. —Hello, Control Hello, Tony 19:33, 1 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Just a note edit

I reverted some of the work that you've made on the Richard Marx recording articles, because there is a distinct lack of citations to support the dates and there were grammar miscues. I didn't do this maliciously I assure you; I just want to be insured that the dates you've added are indeed correct. If you can take the time to cite those dates, then by all means take the time to revert the edits back with the proof to back them up. The years on the chart are sufficient until that criteria is met. Have a lovely weekend. --Candy156sweet (talk) 06:06, 24 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speculation edit

Please do not add spoilers or speculation to any Days of Our Lives article, especially Sami Brady, Nicole Walker, and EJ Wells. The names of their children have NOT been aired on screen, and adding them in is against policy. Thank you. Rm994 (talk) 22:08, 4 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

More Speculation edit

Please stop speculating about Lindsay Monroe and Danny Messer and their baby's name and changing Lindsay's last name under this name and using IP addresses. Both the speculation and the sockpuppeting are against Wikipedia rules and you could be blocked from further editing. Replaceable fair use Image:Lochlyn.jpg edit

Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Lochlyn.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Polly (Parrot) 18:42, 20 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

File copyright problem with File:I'll Never Stop.jpeg edit

Thank you for uploading File:I'll Never Stop.jpeg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. FASTILYsock (TALK) 00:05, 12 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of I'll Be Home for Christmas – EP edit

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is I'll Be Home for Christmas – EP. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/I'll Be Home for Christmas – EP. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:12, 8 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Unsourced information edit

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to Ashley Greene. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Cresix (talk) 17:43, 27 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

November 2011 edit

Please do not add content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to Minor characters of Days of our Lives. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Rm994 (talk) 20:31, 14 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of The Fix (EP) edit

The article The Fix (EP) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Tagged for 10 years, the EP appears to be non-notable. Other than charting in a complementary Billboard chart, there are not enough third-party sources to claim it is independent from Jordan Knight discography.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. © Tbhotch (en-2.5). 03:38, 28 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
