Possible ref edit

The content and ref below are from the Wikipedia article about the Coventry. David notMD (talk) 09:03, 9 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

The wreck site is a controlled site under the Protection of Military Remains Act. Five months after Coventry sank, a RN Fleet Diving Team conducted an underwater survey of the wreck, which they found lying on her port side in approximately 100 metres (330 ft) of water. This survey was the beginning of "Operation Blackleg", a series of dives to recover classified documentation and equipment and to make the remaining weapons safe by means of explosive demolition.[1] David notMD (talk) 09:03, 9 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Signing in edit

Even at Teahouse, remember to sign in before making a comment. Otherwise your entries are showing up as from two places - your account and an unregistered IP. Within Wilipedia-land, that is considered sock puppetry, and is forbidden. David notMD (talk) 15:23, 9 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Your COI edit

Before doing any more edits it is essential that you declare your COI on your User page.

It appears that all of the information comes from one reference. In instances like this, the same reference can be put at the end of each paragraph in the draft. There is a repeat-use protocol described at Help:Referencing for beginners. David notMD (talk) 15:50, 9 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Coventyteam.jpg edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Coventyteam.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 11:45, 30 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

How many actual sources do you need. These sources are all verifiable. Devargo007 (talk) 09:37, 3 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
Operation Blackleg, is not done made up article. It's a factual account of the recovery of NATO sensitive cryptographic items and documents for HMS Coventry Devargo007 (talk) 09:40, 3 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
To answer your first question: the aim should be to have a reference to accompany every substantial fact in the article. Check out how it's done here. Modussiccandi (talk) 09:18, 4 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
Ok , I will edit again with inline citations from various sources.
The team image jpg is a Creative Commons photo and can be easily found online. I don't understand how it has not been allowed to accompany the entry?
The image is an integral part of this Operations history.
Thank you for your assistance
This is a tricky process Devargo007 (talk) 09:39, 4 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
