August 2022 edit

Please stop making test edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Cetinje. It is considered vandalism, which, under Wikipedia policy, can lead to being blocked from editing. If you would like to experiment again, please use your sandbox. I need you to stop doing what you're doing, these constant removals and reinsertions. You did it on Podgorica as well. It is very confusing and disruptive. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 17:30, 6 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Cetinje. Drmies (talk) 17:33, 6 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

  • Seriously, I will block you from editing the main space if you don't a. start explaining what you are doing and b. stop with the removals and reinsertions. And one more thing: make sure you are logged in properly when you are editing. Drmies (talk) 17:35, 6 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

I just wanted it too look better. It was all over the place. It is easier to find the sections that interests you for Cetinje. There is no need to have main sights and arhitecture as different sections. It can all go to culture. It also needs education. In Cetinje there are universities. I’m sorry if I had to add then delete it, I’m doing this on my smartphone so it is a little bit complicated. Desemeus (talk) 17:41, 6 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

  • Desemeus, if you can edit on your smartphone you can also leave an edit summary. Please leave edit summaries. Drmies (talk) 21:54, 6 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

I will from now on. Thanks Desemeus (talk) 21:57, 6 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for August 9 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Cetinje, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sava Petrović. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Discretionary Sanctions alert: Balkans and Eastern Europe edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in Eastern Europe or the Balkans. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}} on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Also noting that while the above notice does not imply anything about your edits, your recent edits at Serbs in Albania, Montenegrins in Albania, did not have sufficient citations to establish the independent notability of the ethnic groups in question (see WP:GNG), or to even verify that these are distinct groups in the demographics of Albania (which is important to establish, as there appear to be at least some sources that conflate the two). signed, Rosguill talk 21:27, 2 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Bekim Sejranović edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Bekim Sejranović requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from wordswithoutborders.org/contributors/view/bekim-sejranovi/#:~:text=Bekim%20Sejranović%20(1972–2020),master's%20degree%20in%20Yugoslav%20literature. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Montenegrin Chileans moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Montenegrin Chileans, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 12:34, 22 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

April 2023 edit

Your recent editing history at Marko Miljanov shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. It should have at least three, to be safe, and currently the only in-depth coverage is the Vijesti piece.
