Adoption? edit

At the Teahouse you expressed a desire to be "adopted" as a Wikipedian. I am a fairly experienced editor (over 10 years, over 33,000 editorial actions, admin) and I help out a good deal at the Teahouse and the Helpdesk If you are interested in discussing with me what adoption or mentoring might mean to you, post a message on my talk page or ping me here by including {{U|DESiegel}} as part of a signed (with four tildes: that is ~~~~) comment on this page. Guidance edit

I appreciate your time ! I am wanting to create a biography about Denise Lescano (I am not Denise-I am Miel) I am confused to say the least and could really use some guidance. I deleted what I had in the sandbox and started over with the infobox person template. I am not sure how to add an image. I do have information to type in with appropriate links to add. My desire is to create something basic for this first project. I have read, perused and watched some helpful videos but I am not getting it. Do you have a little time to help me? It's Greek to me. Re: Images edit

hello Miel, first off I would like to apologies for getting your name incorrect. In regards to your question if you wish to add it to your Image from your computer to your article or in first place your sandbox then click on this Wikimedia Commons and click on the upload button. you will see once you have clicked on upload button a brief article that says "What you can upload to "Wikimedia Commons", this is probably worth reading so you don't breach any Wikipedia guidelines. when you have read this scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click "next", this will then ask you to select media files you wish to share" When you have selected the image and filled in the relevant information about the picture you can then find it on your contributions page (this is located on your page in the top right hand corner). Once you have found it click on open in media viewer, copy the file name then you go to your sandbox and go to embedded file (This is located in the top left hand corner) then you can past the file name, add a caption, change size and Alignment. I hope this has helped you to understand. Please feel free to ask me anymore questions, I will be quite happy to help anytime. I can understand Greek language   Jks!!!. all the best editing.--Dominoooo's (talk) 20:35, 4 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
