The Apprentice edit

Hi delta - hope things are ok. Not been over at the Apprentice articles lately, as I haven't had time between navigating my RfA and the FritzpollBot debate. The series comes to an end this week - once that happens, shall we have a big push to clean up Series 4, add references, commentary, etc. and nom it for GA status? I reckon that'd be a nice quick win before the agony of trying to drag Series one and two up to GA standard. Let me know what you think Fritzpoll (talk) 16:05, 9 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hey dude, I'm doing ok! and you? you seem to have been busy. Did't realise you had such a debate, but good luck, and congrats that your bot got approved :-) Ok, I'm defo up for the push, lets start with writing a list of tasks on the project page, then we can all work from that? not sure if you will see this post, so I will copy this and put it on your own talk page. Many thanks, δ²(Talk) 03:28, 11 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
I'll definitely join with the push - might as well say here that I have no idea why I've managed to become a main editor of the Series 4 article recently without actually being a member of the WikiProject! Oh well, sorted now!Caissa's DeathAngel (talk) 19:09, 12 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Haha - brilliant. There are a few things needing doing - sources to attribute Sir Alan's quotes, and a bit of critical reception (I have an article or two to use as sources) plus some general tidying up which will be easier now that the series is over an the page is less watched Fritzpoll (talk) 19:25, 12 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

On my talkpage - oh, and I fixed your menu for you. You can see the problem from the diff. :) Fritzpoll (talk) 14:19, 29 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thank you so much for fixing this :-) was it a simple mistake? also, how can I make the picture "span" the width of the blue border have running around my page? the border changes width as my screen resolution changes, but the picture doesn't. Do you understand what I mean? Many thanks, δ²(Talk) 16:17, 29 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (Image:SSU Logo solo.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:SSU Logo solo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:20, 30 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Image:SSU Logo - Colour.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on Image:SSU Logo - Colour.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:Image:SSU Logo - Colour.jpg|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Guru edit

I went back and went over everything that was put in and after removing certain things and doing more research into it..because at first glance it appeared to be spam..so the first couple reverts were from the seeming vandalism. i went back and went over it again and after even further edits were made not by me but by other editors, i made some small edits and left it alone. but i think im taking a slight step back to this article, if not removing it from the watchlist..i cant see myself working on it too much longer..so unless i see something outlandish i will most likely be far away from this page. but thanks for voicing your concern, its greatly appreciated.--EmperorofPeopleEverywhere (talk) 19:49, 6 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Apprentice weekly results list edit

Thank you for your comments on my proposed changes to the table, although I don't see them on the main series 5 talk page. Are they somewhere else? When looking back on a series I still think it would be more useful to see how many times a candidate was in the winning or losing team than how often they were in team A or team B. I know it means changing all the tables, but that shouldn't stop a better presentation if someone is prepared to do it. Regards, Anguswalker (talk) 10:46, 23 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

NowCommons: File:CCGT.jpg edit

File:CCGT.jpg is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:White Koenigsegg CCGT Goodwood 2007.jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:White Koenigsegg CCGT Goodwood 2007.jpg]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 11:09, 27 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Precursor (manufacturing) edit

The article Precursor (manufacturing) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:REDUNDANTFORK - Text is covered in Carbon (fiber) article. Perhaps the text in the Carbon (fiber) could be expanded if needed?

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
