Empowerment Plan edit

Welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you are enjoying yourself and plan to stick around. Unfortunately, I have removed content from the above noted article, which is considered in appropriate for an encyclopedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance and content. Deviating from this style disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Specifically, we do not include employee directories or member lists in articles. Therefore, I have removed the list of the Board of Directors from the article. The proper place for this content is the organization's website. If you have questions, please feel free to contact me. Best regards, Cindy(need help?) 15:49, 23 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for July 21 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Jody Turner, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Nike (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Conflict of interest policy edit

Hello, Delcydrew. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies. Note that Wikipedia's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. --Ronz (talk) 17:19, 31 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Nia edit

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Nia (fitness). While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. --Ronz (talk) 21:41, 4 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the response. We should discuss sources and content on the article talk page, but briefly: Some of the content did not have any apparent sources at all. I don't believe any of the new sources you added demonstrate any independence from the topic. --Ronz (talk) 22:27, 5 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

June 2015 edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. --Ronz (talk) 16:39, 3 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

In response to your comment, I think it would be best to start with asking you if you've reviewed WP:COI. You should find answers to all your questions there as well, but I'm happy to clarify if not. --Ronz (talk) 20:59, 3 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Delcydrew. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Patti Carpenter".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Editing with a possible paid conflict of interest edit

Hello Delcydrew. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Delcydrew. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Delcydrew|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. SamHolt6 (talk) 11:54, 26 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello SamHolt6, I appreciate your concern, however I am well aware of wiki’s paid disclosure terms and this reply is to confirm that I was not and will not be compensated financially for publishing this article. impactmania is a resource I discovered doing research for my own purposes, and upon realizing the breadth and scope of its content, as well as the numerous mentions of the project across wikipedia, I felt it was content worthy of an article. I hope this contribution allows more people to discover this unique network of global impact makers! 104.221.105.99 (talk) 12:57, 26 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Impactmania moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Impactmania, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. scope_creepTalk 18:37, 14 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Concern regarding Draft:Impactmania edit

Hello, Delcydrew. This is a bot-delivered message letting you know that Draft:Impactmania, a page you created, has not been edited in at least 5 months. Draft space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for article space.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion under CSD G13. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it. You may request userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available here.

Dear scope_creepTalk, I was not aware that external links (do you mean within Wikipedia?) are not allowed. I also asked to know which sources are considered unreliable or promotional so I can fix them. My intention is certainly not to vandalize Wikipedia. That is a rather unnecessarily harsh accusation. Again, please help by letting me know specifically which edits or sources are problematic and I will rectify them. Many thanks, Delcydrew (talk) 13:19, 18 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
