John Galen Howard edit

Hi DelDav. Welcome to Wikipedia and thanks for your work on John Galen Howard. It is linked from quite a few places and the article has been needed for some time. Thanks! Mike Dillon 17:34, 31 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Viscount Gough edit

This chap was my Grandfather about four generations back. I've been trying to track down his portraits. We own an original very similar to the one you submitted; could you tell me where you found this print? - and better still where the original is?

Nicholas Nagy-Talavera edit

I've subbed this article, added an infobox, stub templates and categories. It's difficult sometimes to find categories, you may wish to find better.

It would be very helpful (in fact considered essential) to leave useful edit summaries rather than leave them blank.

You may wish to add a link to the Hungarian Wikipédia if a suitable article exists (I could not find one) e.g. [hu:Nag-Talavera Nikolas], at the bottom of the page, and add {{Eastern name order|Nagy-Talavera Nikolas}} at the top of the article if his native name is such.

Thanks and best wishes. SimonTrew (talk) 05:23, 20 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
