Sockpuppet tagging edit

Hello, Dedede92. I noticed that you have been adding {{sockpuppet}} tags to user pages. These tags should be added judiciously, since they have a chance of unintentionally shaming the user in question if the tags are applied in error. For example, Netstar1 is not yet blocked, but is awaiting the conclusion of a sockpuppet investigation. For this reason, you should wait until the sock puppet investigation concludes definitively that the account is a sock puppet before applying the tag, and typically, you should let either an administrator, a CheckUser, or a clerk of the sockpuppet investigations process handle the tagging. I noticed that you're new here – welcome to Wikipedia! If you have any questions about editing, feel free to ask on my talk page. Regards, Mz7 (talk) 19:05, 3 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Sock tagging, again edit

Here's a question:who are you and why do you keep tagging users as sockpuppets?! I'm sorry if that comes off as harsh but it's hard to assume good faith when I see a newly registered user with barely any edits pulling these kinds of stunts. Sro23 (talk) 20:13, 6 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • I'm just someone who's been checking out SPI cases since late June(before I registered on September 2), and I wanted to play a role in the process.--Dedede92 (talk) 20:28, 6 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • I just noticed that Mark this page as patrolled appeared on my talk page. What happened to the patrol user right?--Dedede92 (talk) 20:35, 6 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
