Link to Skeptical science

Hello! I noticed you altered a link in Global warming recently so that it now points to a WP article Skeptical science rather than to the Skeptical science website. You have therefore introduced an inaccuracy, in my opinion. Perhaps you would consider altering it back? I believe your edit was in good faith but mistaken. The pointer was intended to show where the image could be found, and also leads the reader to a more rich source of information. --Greenmaven (talk) 07:20, 13 July 2011 (UTC)

Hi Greenmaven--indeed the edit was in good faith. I noticed the first three images on the Global warming page--with the exception of this one--linked to the respective Wikipedia articles of the sources rather to their external links (which are of course available). That is why I assumed that the Wikipedia articles of the sources are preferable, and the reason why I thought it would be a good idea to update the reference. (When the image in question was originally added to the global warming page, the Skeptical Science page on Wikipedia had not yet been created--now, as of about 3 hours ago, it does exist.)--Dawei20 (talk) 07:23, 13 July 2011 (UTC)

Skeptical Science

Please note that categorization of articles is mandatory; as long as the article does not have at least one proper category on it, the {{uncat}} tag must remain there. If you want the tag off the article, then find a category that actually exists and add it to the article, because if the page shows up on the uncategorized articles list again I may lock it so that you can't edit it at all. Bearcat, thank you for categorizing it. I did not revert the edit because of that, I reverted it because your edit led to some bizarre formatting problems (multiple lines of text that did not wrap around the page anymore but overlapped through my pictures and beyond). Hello, Dawei20. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
