Please help me with... The title of this page doesn't reflect the current focus of our museum. (The museum was founded by the Young family and preserves their collections in the house as well as their changes to the landscape, so we'd like to remove Samuel Morse's name from the title if possible.) We're new to Wikipedia and trying to figure out who to get in touch with to discuss this; thank you very much in advance for any help! Davis.claire87 (talk) 16:27, 28 September 2020 (UTC)
- I'm going to assume from your editing history that you're referring to Locust Grove (Samuel F. B. Morse House). I think the best way forward is to propose a name change on the article's talk page using a move request. Basically, you click "New Section" on the talk page, add {{subst:requested move}} with your rationale of why you want it moved (see Wikipedia:Requested moves/Controversial for more information on the format of that template) and then publish your changes. Other editors will comment on the proposal and after a week consensus will be determined. If you want more help, change the {{help me-helped}} back into a {{help me}}, stop by the Teahouse, or Wikipedia's live help channel, or the help desk to ask someone for assistance.
