Edit at List_of_unsolved_murders_in_the_United_Kingdom edit

David, I reverted your edit at List_of_unsolved_murders_in_the_United_Kingdom because you edited the headings rather than create a new row. I added your information back as a new row. You can see how I added a row here [1].

I was unable to find the article you cited on the East London Advertiser website. If you can find the article online it would be good to change my citation which currently reads:

<ref>{{cite news|title=Gran Battered To Death|newspaper=East London Advertiser|date=May 27, 1999}}</ref>

to something like:

<ref>{{cite news|title=Gran Battered To Death|newspaper=East London Advertiser|date=May 27, 1999|accessdate=Jan 05, 2013|url=http://www.eastlondonadvertiser.co.uk/article_url}}</ref>

It isn't necessary if you are sure that the article exists, but it makes it easier for readers of the article to verify the facts and find more information. If I misinterpreted your edit, and no such article exists, please remove the citation entirely. ParacusForward (talk) 02:05, 6 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

David, the entry you created is still on the list. This is a collaborative website where users try to work together to create an encyclopedia. I moved your entry from the headers to a new row as I mentioned in the message above. Because I was unable to confirm the source, and you did not update the entry, I did briefly remove the it, but another user was able to find a different reference and added it back. So, despite the trouble you had adding the entry, through the efforts of the three of us it is now properly on the list and has a known valid citation.
