MfD nomination of User:Davesilvan edit

User:Davesilvan, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Davesilvan and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:Davesilvan during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Bbb23 (talk) 00:33, 13 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

That's fine. as it turned out some of the information my mother gave me was less than honest. I wrote the page after a major motorcycle accident and wanted to write down some things which I didn't want to forget, it was an emotional ordeal. I've since overcome it. Thanks again, Jimmy Wales, for this amazing contribution to society. Dave 05:53, 8 November 2011 (UTC)

I'll fix this right now. I don't want to surprise anyone but I'm going to undo the changes, so that I can immediately go back to it, edit it, slim it down severely and try to write it a... what is it, nonbiased POV. I'll include only my basics like birthday, I know the hospital I was born in, my grade and high school i have pictures of at least my high school yearbook to verify. Because to tell you the truth I have a story to tell (a movie to make) about my outlandish ordeals in life, and if Wiki is reserved simply for known science models and celebrities, you can put me in the soon-to-be celebs, up and coming. I will need ... a few years as a modest guesstimate at the moment. Off to edit the basics. Four tildes, I believe sometimes they don't 'take': Dave 05:50, 5 January 2012 (UTC)

Even better, thanks for the apparent template insertion, I will go fill in the blanks, thanks a lot, fellas. At least that's what I'll try to do now. Dave 05:55, 5 January 2012 (UTC)

FINAL UPDATE: I don't wanna figure this stuff out, honestly, i need to seriously burn stuff off my coputer because it locks up seriously every few seconds. Delete the page with my full blessing. in a few years when i'm famous someone else can write it about me and i can fill in personal details, verified in the autobiography ill write.

Delete it, please. Just get rid of it, Thanks. Dave 06:05, 5 January 2012 (UTC)

I've reverted your edit there [1] because we are not supposed to alter quotes. Regards. Materialscientist (talk) 05:47, 8 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

A tag has been placed on La Mott (Camptown/Camp William Penn) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. AKS (talk) 05:34, 5 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hey I'm just trying to contribute factually to local landmarks around my neighborhood in Philadelphia, after searching the lists of not finding this *official landmark* I thought I'd try to help, I guess I won't waste any more time, thanks. Dave 09:42, 20 December 2012 (UTC)

Your contributed article, Guns n' roses live ?!*@ like a suicide LP edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Guns n' roses live ?!*@ like a suicide LP. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Live ?!*@ Like a Suicide. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Live ?!*@ Like a Suicide - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Klilidiplomus+Talk 05:19, 15 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Tales of the Lance edit

Hello Davesilvan,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Tales of the Lance for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks,  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 01:00, 25 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Well it was something I paid about $30 for and it's a boxed set and I thought -- hey, an encyclopedia anyone can edit -- let me help contribute to true historic accuracy by including the existence of this set that was part of the Dragonlance universe. Delete it or not, I don't care. Dave 09:40, 20 December 2012 (UTC)
