External links edit

The rules are here Wikipedia:External links#Links normally to be avoided. Blogs are to be avoided, I'll wait to make sure everything is cleared up before removing the links again. I also want to point out you keep restoring a link that is broken and does not lead anywhere. Medvedenko 01:49, 13 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

I've added the dispute here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Third_opinion#Active_disagreements Daphnekraus 07:12, 13 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
Wikipedia:Spam#External link spamming: “Adding external links to an article or user page for the purpose of promoting a website or a product is not allowed, and is considered to be spam… repeatedly adding links will in most cases result in all of them being removed.” Edits by user Daphnekraus have to date primarily consisted of adding blog and personal web page links, e.g. here, here, here, here, here, here, etc. — Athaenara 10:10, 13 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
Thanks all. I guess I'm just confused as to how editors who are not from Philadelphia can write about Philadelphia Culture. I'm sure we will see a change in the perception of blogs as an "inappropriate media source" over the next couple years, but until then please feel free to delete the link, Medvedenko. Thanks Medvedenko and Athaenara. Daphnekraus 10:30, 13 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
