Questions edit

FYI - if you have lots of questions, feel free to leave me a note on my talk page or one of our ambassadors talk pages - they're all super nice and I've talked to them all already.

Additionally check out the help section and click the big purple button - check out the chat room and ask for an ambassador by typing !ambassador then entering your question. Debaser42 (talk) 18:25, 13 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Project Links edit

Great ideas for your project - check out http://scholar.google.com to find some academic articles to see where you might best find information about your ideas. There are a lot of articles regarding sexuality in music videos (I know Sut Jhally has quite a few videos on this). Make sure you are thinking about this as a synthesis of current work and to maintain neutrality when writing about it. Debaser42 (talk) 15:06, 16 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Interesting Article edit

Hi Danielle, my name is Scotty and I am from your Comm 375 class. I saw your user page and noticed that you were planning on writing about sexuality in media and advertising. Immediately it reminded me about this interesting article I read in The Daily Beast and figured that it kind of related to your project ideas. Even if you cant use it as a reference for one of your projects I hope that you find it to be an interesting read. http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2011/09/09/nancy-upton-on-her-american-apparel-plus-size-photo-spoof.html Sjeanbap (talk) 22:29, 17 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hey Dani! I found this link that can provide you with a couple diff pdf files to other articles regarding how rap and its videos and lyrics impact children and youth. This may help you directly or at least give you some more thoughts! :)Jules2013 (talk)

Aw thanks Jules! I'll def take a look at these! Daniellecomm375 (talk) 16:48, 14 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hey! edit

Here is the link to the general ambassador program that I was telling you about the other day. If you are interested, the links for each type of ambassador lead to the process with which you could use to apply. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask, and if I do not respond within a few days, feel free to leave a note on my talk page. Also, congratulations on being the top content adder from UMass (as seen here) Kevin Rutherford (talk) 02:52, 10 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
