91000676

Hi DanTD, I noticed your edit. If you don't add the image to the lists it will keep showing up. In this case the listing 91000676 seems to be included in both National Register of Historic Places listings in Hunterdon County, New Jersey (with image) and National Register of Historic Places listings in Mercer County, New Jersey (without image). The refnum is the primary key so only one record ends up in the database and in this case that appears to be the one without the image. Multichill (talk) 15:23, 15 September 2013 (UTC)

Okay, I did it. But I was hoping for an image known specifically for Mercer County, New Jersey. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 17:34, 15 September 2013 (UTC)

Pending NRHP noms on Long Island

Tomorrow's meeting of the SHPB has two from different areas of Long Island if you're looking for things to take pictures of:

  • Noah Hallock House, 172 Hallock Landing Road, Rocky Point. And then down on the South Shore, much closer to Nassau County, we have:
  • Rafael Guastivino House, 143 Awixa Avenue, Bay Shore. I envy you this one—it looks like it would make a great picture (see the back pages of the nom) and you won't have trouble finding it. I bet the state is planning to make an NHL out of this at some point, seeing as how the owner was a fire-prevention pioneer who tested out his methods on his house by facing it in ceramic tile. My former home was a little closer to the Noah Hallock House, but the Rafael Guastivino House looks like a real shoe-in. I still wish the old Hewlett LIRR station was on the list though. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 12:33, 18 September 2013 (UTC)

odd language westhampton beach post office

I meant the repeats of the town name in the first sentence. I think your second edit made it clearer why you were focusing on how it relates to a different town's po. dm (talk) 18:47, 29 September 2013 (UTC)

It's meant to. Both post offices are in close proximity to one another and have similar names, even though it's the one in Westhampton Beach that's on NRHP. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 19:08, 29 September 2013 (UTC)

File:Adams Mills Lock 28.jpg

I noticed this came up again at the unused pics page. It looks like the problem is that Muskingum River Navigation Historic District #07000025 is in both the Morgan and Muskingum lists, but since Morgan has no image, it keeps bringing it up. I don't have an opinion on the resolution, but that is the technical reason. Chris857 (talk) 16:51, 9 October 2013 (UTC)

Clearly that's the reason it keeps coming back up. From what I've read it's also in two other counties, but there's a hidden note in the Morgan County list that says "Please don't add Triple locks 01.jpg or Adams Mills Lock 28.jpg because they're not in Morgan County." If this wasn't the case, I'd add it to the Morgan County list as well. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 16:57, 9 October 2013 (UTC)
