US station naming conventions

I-75 business routes
Michigan has nine entries, enough to support its own list, so I won't move the title back. Business routes of Interstate 75 redirects there, yes, but that's because the page was moved forcing a redirect to be created. You can recreate a list at that title by editing the redirect and turning it back into a list. Just add a link to Business routes of Interstate 75 in Michigan to the page. For an example, Bannered routes of U.S. Route 31 (bad name, we shouldn't be using "bannered" in the title, but that's another issue) links to the list article Business routes of U.S. Route 31 in Michigan, which has eight entries. - Well, there's only four for Georgia, but I can give it a shot. I was going to consider either your suggestion, or a split of all I-75 Business routes per state, with the one for Michigan redirecting there. - Georgia may only have four, but has anyone looked to see if Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee and Florida have any? Michigan loves its business routes. I counted 71 with a possible 72nd for the Interstates and US Highways with another 3 for state highways at the moment. In those cases, MI will maintain its own lists, or merge the list into the parent article. (Interstate 196 has its three current business routes merged into that article.) There's just too many for the state, and no way for me to easily improve other states' entries on national lists, for this one person to manage combined lists in this case. Plus, having national-level lists will make the Good Topic on the Michigan State Trunkline Highway System murkier or impossible to complete because we will be mixing in so many states' business routes. Template:Georgia Interstate Highways
I noticed that you added some links (redlinks for now?) to the {{Georgia Interstate Highways}} template. I used Google Street View and never saw any signs for the ones you added. Are they real? Are they unsigned? Or are you making them up? If they are real, subsections for them should be added to Interstate 75 in Georgia. Thanks. Allen (Morriswa) (talk) 04:48, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
- Maybe this should be moved into the discussion above. I also checked the appropriate city maps and county maps, plus the front side and back side of the 2013-2014 GDOT map. - Before you move it to the discussion, I vaguely remember a few more I-75 business routes in my June 2013 road trip, but I got the others from this. Rather than a subsection, I thought of reviving Business routes of Interstate 75 as a separate page rather than a redirect for Business routes of Interstate 75 in Michigan. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 12:20, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
- I did not know those business routes were on the List of business routes of the Interstate Highway System#Interstate 75 page. I have even looked at the Rand McNally Road Atlas, as well as their online mapping service. Still, I don't see any evidence of those business routes existing. The only one that has any signage is the Tifton one, and that seems to only be the exit signs on the Interstate. On the exit ramps, there is no mention of the business route. If you can verify the existence (past or present) of them, and their route, you could put them on the Interstate 75 in Georgia page. Also, I totally support your upgrading that redirect! Bannered route of U.S. Route 460
I see that you have your own list of bannered routes of US 460. Have you taken a look at List of bannered U.S. Routes#US 460? There are some routes that you don't have on your list. Let me know if there are any discrepancies in the lists. Allen (Morriswa) (talk) 01:45, 1 December 2013 (UTC)

Besides the one that traveled in both VA/WV (because I didn't know how to correctly show that in {{Infobox road small}}, the only thing to do is expand each section with information, as normal. - I had mileage on many of those, along with other details. Also, I did swipe them from the List of bannered U.S. Routes, and doubted the geographic order of them. Science article
There's a significant problem with the opening paragraph of the article on science.
The definition given is so vague that it just means "knowledge", and that's not how the term "science" is used nowadays.
Modern science is *empirically testable", and not merely "testable", since the latter can be purely logical, and need not include any kind of empirical testing.
The *old* usage of science, to broadly mean "knowledge", is significantly different to the modern usage, and is definitely not "closely related", since it means something entirely different. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ksolway (talk • contribs) 04:51, 26 December 2013 (UTC)
