disambiguation issue on Missouri Pacific Railroad Depot

Hi, i noticed your edit in this diff which restored the display of "Missouri Pacific Depot (Independence, Missouri)", which is the NRHP name for a site, within Missouri Pacific Railroad Depot. That's not the name of an actual wikipedia article though, so, technically i think that is not a correct edit. I'm going by style guideline for disambiguation pages, at wp:MOSDAB. If this were a regular list-article of NRHP sites, then I would support showing the NRHP name for the site with a pipelink or redirect to the actual article. But disambig pages are different, and should show the actual article name. It would be possible to convert the disambiguation page into a Set Index Article (wp:SIA) in which case different rules would apply, but currently it is a disambiguation page. Okay, watching with interest. By the way, it seems to me that the official NRHP name for the site is just "Missouri Pacific Depot", because that is what appears in NRIS for the site. I put that into the Independence (Amtrak station) article. It would be fine by me if you moved the Independence (Amtrak station) article to a different name (leaving the NRHP name as a bolded alternative in the text of the article). Then the disambiguation page could be revised to show that new name instead. doncram (talk) 13:44, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

My tool not working

(I thought it was a little unfair to clutter his talkpage further, so I'm going to reply here. I'll be watching this page, but perhaps it would be best to reply on my talk page.)

Could you post me a link? Either it's you not doing it right (which is my fault and can be fixed) or there's a bug (which is my fault and can be fixed). I'd be happy to get it working. - Jarry1250 (t, c) 08:28, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

Ah, I understand now. The tool was primarily written for the use of WikiProjects with a category containing articles they think need images. Maybe you could find such a WP's category that includes articles from your category? - Jarry1250 (t, c) 11:15, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
Well, yes it is, you just have to give it the right info - namely, a talk page category. This may be of use to you, for example. - Jarry1250 (t, c) 11:27, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
You can blacklist individual logos, maps, and images in templates if you like. Then articles solely containing those iamges would be taken off the list. - Jarry1250 (t, c) 11:50, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

Re: Mysterious SEPTA R5 station

Full resolution on the station sign identifies it as Lansdale. There is much more to the station behind the photographer (the R5 goes from double track to single track within the station), and the small yard is partially obscured in the distance, but the electric substation would be the giveaway even if the sign were illegible.

The mini-high platform and the map obstruct the view of the start of the Bethlehem Branch curving off to the left, which often has some freight equipment parked there during the day. —CComMack (tc) 04:35, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

Actually, my memory of the very oddly laid out Lansdale station has failed me; I've only been there once. I recommend taking a few minutes with Google Maps Satellite/Google Earth and exploring the various tracks as they weave in and among the station platforms. —CComMack (tc) 01:41, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

Combining nrhp infobox with stations

Hey, I just noticed (by pure chance) that you had been combining NRHP infoboxes with station infoboxes in several articles, this one being the most recent last month. While I approve of you doing this, I've noticed you've been using the sandbox version of {{Infobox nrhp}}. I remember going through the process of adding the "embed" code to the infobox to aid you in this, but I don't think we ever cleared up how the final product was supposed to be implemented in these articles. The sandbox code was only to be used until it was imported into the actual template code, which has been done now. When you combine infoboxes, you no longer have to include the "/sandbox" part after "Infobox nrhp" in the code. I don't know if this arose from confusion on your part or on mine, but I'm going to go back and change your old edits to remove the sandbox version and readd the original version. Just giving you a heads up! --Dudemanfellabra (talk) 05:41, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

Yea I thought that might be the case. I was just trying to clear up the confusion! :) --Dudemanfellabra (talk) 17:08, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
