Jamaica Line opening dates

Hello and excuse me,

Why did you revert your additions to these articles? The BMT Jamaica Line article already lists these stations with the date of July 3, 1918 and with the same link to the New York Times. Why do you think that the date of December 12, 1916 is more correct? What is its source? Vcohen (talk) 12:24, 28 July 2013 (UTC)

NYCSubway.org. I know there was a debate about the reliability of that site a while back, simply because it was an SPS, but it seems just as precise as the New York Times article. I really only wanted to add them because they specifically state that they were built as part of the Dual Contracts, and I overlooked the dates. -------User:DanTD (talk) 12:32, 28 July 2013 (UTC)

P.S. The date in the PDF has been added by the nytimes.com website and might be wrong, but the NYT article itself is an authentic article of those days, and if it says "last Wednesday", it must be Wednesday! The date in our articles, December 12, 1916, is Tuesday, and the date on nycsubway.org, December 2, 1916, is Saturday, so they are different and none of them is Wednesday.
