March 2009 edit

  If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Royal Confraternity of Sao Teotonio, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam); and,
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for businesses. For more details about what, exactly, constitutes a conflict of interest, please see our conflict of interest guidelines. Thank you. HrafnTalkStalk(P) 02:36, 12 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

After discussion with you on my talk page, I have removed the level 4im warning from your talk page. Having brought the matter to administrative attention, it is agreed that the addition of the personal information (name and email) could have been added by a citation bot in which the edit was not recorded into article history. While I can neither deny or confirm that this was the case, I feel that the fact that the possibility exists to be enough to Assume Good Faith, and remove the warning.
I also note that there are concerns about a Conflict of interest; however, as you appear to be discussing those matters on the Royal Confraternity of Sao Teotonio talk page I will not further discuss the issue here. I also note that you appear to be approaching an edit war, and would encourage you to read Wikipedia:Three-revert rule. Perhaps you would find more success at editing other articles which you were not so personally involved in, that's just a suggestion. Either way, I wish you the best of luck with your editing at Wikipedia. — Ched ~ (yes?)/© 04:46, 20 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop. Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Royal Confraternity of Sao Teotonio, without resolving the problem that the template refers to may be considered vandalism. Further edits of this type may result in your being blocked from editing. HrafnTalkStalk(P) 06:03, 20 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Etiquette edit

I've commented on your post on Hrafn's talk page here. Please appreciate that assuming good faith is policy, and you appear to be in breach of civility policy. It will help greatly if you take more care with etiquette and, as that guidance suggests, you'll find a polite approach is much more successful. You've been encouraged to find other interests, and it's good advice to learn how to edit co-operatively on article where you don't have a direct personal involvement. If you remember to use talk pages for positive proposals for articles, and comment on article content rather than making personal attacks on other editors, I'm sure you'll do well. Don't hesitate to let me know if you'd like advice about anything here, dave souza, talk 21:19, 20 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hrafn I believe is masqerading with multiple user names, and has an anti - creationism agenda by looking at his contributions edit

I made small edits to the artical "Kent Hovind" to bring a little neutrality to a lopsided bashing and he and Arthur Rubin & NeilN & Farsight001 have been undoing everything I have done, even when efforts to improve or establish sources claimed to be the reason for deletion are fixed. How do we deal with this, I am willing to spend a week of so non stop to deal with this, but I need help to know how to go about it, my email is qgriffith@hotmail.com, I have already email a dozen or so people to see if they will take this up, one friend is a position in Wikikpedia's Community, but since you have experienced this knuckel head I want your feedback and ideas. thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thankful21&3 (talkcontribs) 2009-08-27 08:07:55
