Talk:Anti-Zionism edit

Hi DaiSaw.

Your post to the talk page of the Anti-Zionism article suggests that you don't really understand the purpose of article talk pages; they are for discussing improvements to the article. I confess that I have from time to time found myself using a talk page as a vehicle for expressing my views, rather than for discussing improvements; none of us is without sin!

However, it appears that you have never attempted to improve an article by editing it. It looks as if you only ever come here to post lengthy tracts on talk pages, expressing views that at first glance appear to be eccentric ('first glance' is as far as I got - I have a life, and I'm not going to spend it reading walls of text).

If you are not here to make an encyclopaedia, then you really shouldn't be contributing to talk pages. Long posts that amount to rants just clog up the talk pages, and make it harder for real editors to do their work.

Thanks, MrDemeanour (talk) 07:55, 10 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

October 2018 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Nurit Peled-Elhanan are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines, not for general discussion about the topic or unrelated topics, or statements based on your thoughts or feelings. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. June 2019 edit

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you purposefully and blatantly harass a fellow Wikipedian, as you did at User talk:RolandR. For the second time, I have removed a bizarre and hostile conspiratorial rant by you from my talk page. Please note that such content is unwanted, and that you are not welcome to post any more such nonsense on the page. If you continue, I will request that you are blocked from editing.
