Autobiography edit

Please do not write or add to an article about yourself, as you apparently did at Angel McCord. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you.

Based on this edit summary, wherein you claim to be Angel McCord, I am working on the assumption that this article is an autobiography. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 14:49, 28 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Notability and sourcing edit

As your article stands now, there does not appear to be sufficient independent coverage available upon which to build a verifiable article, and so this subject (you?) may not yet meet the criteria for inclusion. Your career seems to be just getting underway, with one role that may or may not be notable (Salvation); an award at a film festival would be a good step toward notability, if the fact could be verified in any reliable source. Unfortunately, the only sources I have found to verify this fact are IMDb, and some mirror sites of IMDb, and a couple of blogs, none of which are considered reliable sources by Wikipedia because none of them are subject to any real form of editorial review. (Even IMDb is questionable -- users have been known to insert deliberately false information there, and it is ridiculously difficult to get the IMDb powers to remove such junk.) If better sources can't be found to back up the information in your article, it will likely be [WP:Deletion policy|deleted]]. If this happens, and your career later takes off, the article may well be recreated, but it should not be recreated by you (see the Autobiography section above).
