January 2021 edit

  Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 19:55, 18 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

My own wiki edit

how can i make my own Wikipedia DJ JAYLON (talk) 20:31, 18 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

You can't. Nothing you create at Wikipedia is your own – see Wikipedia:Ownership of content, one of the core policies of Wikipedia. --CiaPan (talk) 20:37, 18 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
And please stop WP:SHOUTING. --CiaPan (talk) 20:37, 18 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Before you do anything else, I suggest you read WP:PSCOI. If you still decide to create a draft, I suggest you spend time reading and updating other radio station articles before following the instructions at Help:Your first article. If you're interested in changing your Wikipedia username, see Wikipedia:Changing username. GoingBatty (talk) 21:07, 18 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of User:DJ JAYLON edit

A tag has been placed on your user page, User:DJ JAYLON, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Theroadislong (talk) 21:00, 18 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Not ownership edit

Wikipedia refers to its content as articles, not pages. People start articles but do not 'own' them, as other editors can add content, even if the creator does not want it there. For example, a person may create an article about a company, and then another person adds referenced content about a significant lawsuit or scandal. And W does not have articles about future events such as your radio station. David notMD (talk) 10:58, 19 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest edit

  Hello, DJ JAYLON. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page WCC-FM, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 09:40, 6 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

February 2021 edit

Please do not create, maintain or restore hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at WCC-FM. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. Please do not disrupt Wikipedia. Continued disruption will be met with being blocked from editing, or other sanctions. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia to learn more about this project and how you can contribute constructively. Thank you. Tdl1060 (talk) 10:28, 6 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

  You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/WCC-FM. If you delete other people's comments again I will request a block. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 16:47, 6 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

February 2021 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or self-promoting in violation of the conflict of interest and notability guidelines.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Beeblebrox (talk) 20:40, 6 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
  Administrator note The apparent inability or unwillingness to understand basic content policies, and the constant asking the other parent are secondary reasons for this block. Any appeal will need to address all of these issues. Beeblebrox (talk) 20:41, 6 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
And we can add block evasion/socking to that as well, as this is obviously the same user as User:JAYLON BRICE THE AMAZING, blocked for similar foolishness last year. Beeblebrox (talk) 22:25, 6 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

UTRS 40251 declined edit

UTRS appeal #40251 has been declined

Strike 1! Unblock requests which are blank, abusive, or nonsensical, are not serious-- will not be considered. Because it fell into one or more of these categories, your appeal has been closed with no action. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 23:20, 6 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

why you block me from edited edit

I trying to build my wiki for my radio station! — Preceding unsigned comment added by DJ JAYLON (talkcontribs) 23:31, 6 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

You can stop this now. We know better. You should request unblocking on your original account. You should not continue to edit this page except to request unblocking. But, again, that should be be via your original account. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 01:02, 7 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Blocked as a sockpuppet edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts as a sockpuppet of User:85.5 FOR LA per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/85.5 FOR LA. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  -- RoySmith (talk) 22:55, 7 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
