RAGSPT videos edit
I thought of a way to link to the RAGSPT videos without creating promo/spam or over-weighting this amateur company too much: See this. BTW, you could link either their YouTube channel or your Commons copies at SavoyNet and also Facebook pages such as the Gilbert and Sullivan Society of Facebook, which has thousands of members.
I see that you have linked some foreign-language G&S productions on SavoyNet. This made me wonder if you have sources that would provide the information to allow you to add some concise information about the most important professional productions of G&S in non-English-speaking countries (and/or in foreign languages) to the Translations (Adaptations) section of the Gilbert and Sullivan article? - Thanks. On the subject of translations of the G&S operas: I don't have a source with complete information on this, but was compiling some information myself to (if I have the time) make a semi-comprehensive webpage on it (although could I cite my own compilation of sources?). I am aware of many German-language translations going back to the 19th century, though I myself am better able to search the internet in French and Hungarian (based on familiarity) than anything else. I'm also aware of a published Spanish Pinafore from the 19th century, professional Spanish, French, Swedish, Catalan and Japanese Mikado productions, and some more stuff... but I would need to actually sort through all of those sources. I have some good information on the history of professional productions in Hungary in the 1960s-1990s, though. D. Benjamin Miller (talk) 16:55, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
