Disputed fair use rationale for Image:KelemvorWaterdeep.JPG edit

Thanks for uploading Image:KelemvorWaterdeep.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Jack Merridew 12:25, 16 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Kof962.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Kof962.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:14, 16 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

D&D articles for Wikipedia 0.7 edit

Hi there!  :)

As someone who's worked on D&D and/or RPG articles before, I'm inviting you to participate in our goal to both improve articles that have been selected to be placed in the next Wikipedia DVD release, as well as nominate more to be selected for this project. Please see the WikiProject D&D talk page for more details. :) BOZ (talk) 05:23, 23 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image licensing edit

Hey there...

I am trying to clean up some of the images with minor licensing issues and I came across Image:Usercynehelm.JPG which is only used on your userpage. If you are going to use the image, could you go and fix the licensing on the image page and be clear about releasing the image under a GFDL license (or another free license). Thanks. If you have any questions, please drop me a note on my talk page. --Jordan 1972 (talk) 22:40, 5 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image copyright problem edit

Thanks for your uploads. You've indicated that the following images are being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why they meet Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page an image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --03:48, 1 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

NowCommons: File:MiramarPara.JPG edit

File:MiramarPara.JPG is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:Miramar Entertainment Park, the Panorama.jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:Miramar Entertainment Park, the Panorama.jpg]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 10:16, 29 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

File copyright problem with File:Usercynehelm.JPG edit

File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Usercynehelm.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ▫ JohnnyMrNinja 01:54, 23 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Danica Maupoissant edit

The article Danica Maupoissant has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails Wikipedia's notability guidelines for fictional characters.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Neelix (talk) 14:12, 22 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
