Yes, it is true that I am new to Wikipedia, but that was not a test edit. There are a lot of similarities in the title " Over the top Media Service and over the top Media Services in India" in both the articles, that's why I added; not to be confused.
Am I wrong?
And thanks for your suggestions. CyberIAwareness (talk) 17:06, 28 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hi MrOllie, Can you answer my questions? Because as a new Wikipedian, I'm feeling discouraged right now.CyberIAwareness (talk) 17:28, 28 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hatnotes must be used sparingly, they are no a place to mention any article that might have a similar title. MrOllie (talk) 18:05, 28 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
But as per WP:HN, It is used as Readers may have arrived at the article containing the hatnote because; They may be seeking an article with a similar name to, orthat otherwise might be confused with, the article with the hatnote.
I just want add a hatnote on the article of Over-the-top media service, so that people not to be confused with Over-the-top media services in India.
Can I add? CyberIAwareness (talk) 18:49, 28 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
That's exactly what I just reverted twice, so I would say 'no'. MrOllie (talk) 19:10, 28 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Ok thanks. CyberIAwareness (talk) 19:30, 28 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
