April 2015 edit

Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! Abecedare (talk) 04:33, 21 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Non-free images and Cubans edit

Please stop adding non-free images such as File:Roberto Goizueta.jpg to Cubans. We do not need non-free images to depict Cubans. and per WP:NFCC policy such usage would not be allowed. Also see WP:NFTABLE. Thank you, --Hammersoft (talk) 14:18, 27 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

What is a non-free image? And how do I know if an image of wikipedia is non free? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cubalibre1985 (talkcontribs)

  • If you don't know what a non-free image is, I recommend you cease adding photographs to articles or uploading photos until you gain an understanding of this topic area. In general, if you see this image on the image description page of any image, such as at File:Roberto Goizueta.jpg, then use of the image must comply with every aspect of WP:NFCC. --Hammersoft (talk) 15:25, 27 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
