Kevin Smith WikiProject edit

Thank you for volunteering for the yet-to-be-made Kevin Smith WikiProject! If you feel you are an expert in the area of a certain movie, person, or topic that concerns Mr. Smith, or you feel you are a Wikipedia formatting and prettiness expert, please post so on the proposal section. Thank you, and snooch to the nooch! DodgerOfZion 16:36, 6 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Melbourne, et al Adjacent to edit

I like something to locate Melbourne (and other places) in relation to perhaps known places. The arrows with boldface seemed a bit strident. Kind of like caps which people call "shouting." Could this be discussed a bit? I have to admit, it's hard nowdays to get up a Wikipedia discussion about anything that national headlines aren't already screaming about. Student7 14:57, 12 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I think it's great to have under geography. Arrows seem okay to me. I would prefer to see boldface removed. Just my thought. I'll post this under Melbourne, as well. Student7 16:48, 12 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I assure you, we have a page open! (KSWP) edit

clarification edit

You recently reverted an edit of mine on View Askewniverse ([1]) with reasoning that it is not part of the official Universe. Although this is true, neither is Jersey Girl, or Scream 3. These are listed as part of the Universe, whereas my entry was placed correctly as a sidenote to Mallrats. What gives? aliasd·U·T 13:55, 14 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

you are right, they should go OR there should be an out of universe section. That said, Vulgar also includes a number of actors from the view askew films and is not noted. Hope that helps, or at least makes some sense.

Cstella23 14:21, 14 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ok, I vote for the out of universe section, in the interests of creating a more interesting article. Cheers for the heads up on Vulgar. I haven't seen it. aliasd·U·T 14:43, 14 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
Just something to for you to pick at: Vulgar mentioned Walt Flanagan's dog in the background. Does that NOT make it part of the Askewniverse, or was the man just messing with us? DodgerOfZion

Image source problem with Image:Chris Fortier - Press 5.jpg edit

Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Chris Fortier - Press 5.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 03:19, 28 April 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Polly (Parrot) 03:19, 28 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
