Callawassie Island edit

Hi Csboes and thank you for working on Callawassie Island in Article For Creation space. I reviewed your work and the island clearly meets Wikipedia's notability standards: WP:NGEO. Please do create the article. Just click the redlink in this paragraph and you're ready to start. Don't add everything in one edit; be incremental paragraph by paragraph. Only include those paragraphs which have a reliable reference. Include the geo coordinates; if you don't know how, I can help. If you need any other assistance or moral support, I'll be glad to provide it. @Dodger67: I saw that you declined the article here, Draft:Callawassie Island, and I'm not trying to step on your toes, but I do want to encourage this editor to create this article so I'll be glad to mentor him about the process going forward. Best, --Rosiestep (talk) 14:36, 23 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

@Rosiestep - I have moved the draft to mainspace and tagged it for the main issues that need attention. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 14:54, 23 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

October 2014 edit

Your recent edit to List of jazz venues in the United States appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person or organization added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Please either link to an existing article, or cite a 3rd-party source. See also: Talk:List of jazz venues#Scope of this list. Gyrofrog (talk) 14:11, 13 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
