Welcome to Wikipedia, Crossfire101! I am Trafford09 and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. Thank you for your contributions. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions check out Wikipedia:Questions, or feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or type {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. Again, welcome!

Hi there edit

Yes, welcome to Wikipedia - I can't believe nobody's welcomed you, since June!

Just a couple of things, though. In this edit, you removed the phrase "', often shortened to Lib Dems, ". I've restored that phrase, as the word in bold is the target of the 'redirect' for LibDems. It is customary for such targets to be preserved within the target article (and in bold as they are redirects).

Also, regarding your contributions, you may like to read up about Edit summaries, which we are asked to fill in with each edit we make, for others' benefit, down the line.

However, enjoy Wikipedia! Regards, Trafford09 (talk) 14:44, 27 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

UK constituency articles edit

Hi Crossfire101

Some of your recent edits to UK constituency articles popped up on my watchlist, and I reverted a few of them before realising that they were part of a longer series of similar changes. I'm sure that these edits were done in good faith, but they don't fit the convention of how we've done things so far, and when I realised they were being applied more widely I thought it best that we should discuss this at WikiProject UK Parliament constituencies. I have launched a centralised discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject UK Parliament constituencies#Tick_marks_on_election_results.2C_labelling_by-elections, where I have explained my concerns

May I ask you join the discussion, and to to refrain from such changes until we've reached a consensus at the WikiProject? I will of course refrain from any further reverts until we have consensus.

Thanks! --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 20:13, 28 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
