Hello. What are you doing? And why?

Could you consider please:

  • Using edit summaries to explain to other editors what you are doing. And why? Per WP:ES
  • Adding references for the changes that you are making and the content you are adding? Per WP:VER
  • Using the preview button so that you don't leave ugly and unnecessary spacing in dozens and dozens of articles? See WP:PREVIEW
  • Whether the electoral subdivision in which a village or suburb happens to sit is sufficiently relevant or important enough to be included in the lead of an article (before robotically adding it to seemingly dozens and dozens of articles)? Per WP:MOSLEAD?
  • If the wording you are repeatedly adding to dozens and dozens of articles is correctly framed? (The bracketed text at the end of many of those constituency names is not part to the subject's name. And should not be read as such. It is a parenthetical disambiguation suffix. To, for example, disambiguate the different potential meanings of Cork East. As such, the "bit in the brackets" should ideally be split out. As the text you have added now to dozens of articles reads "awkwardly". At best.)

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message edit

Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 02:57, 24 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
