This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Sonia Vihar, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Sonia vihar delhi. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. MadmanBot (talk) 14:34, 11 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Nikku singh

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Nikku singh, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think that your page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion".   Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with Nikku singh. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Grammarxxx (What'd I do this time?) 06:59, 12 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please do not write or add to an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Page userfied

edit

Hi Nikku. Having taken a look at your contributed article on Sonia Vihar, I'm afraid it's a long way from being in any condition for Wikipedia's main article space. However, it does look as though the topic is notable, and we would probably benefit from an article on it. With that in mind, rather than deleting the page outright, I've moved it into your userspace ("userfied" it) so that you can work on it to bring it up to standard. You can find the draft at User:Coolnikku.singh/Sonia Vihar.

The main issue to address are as follows:

  • Tone. The article's current language does not read like that of an encyclopedia; it's non-neutral and quite discursive. Take a look at some of our other articles (Ahmedabad, for example) to get an idea of how to write for an encyclopedia. Most of all, don't mention yourself in the article; whilst we're grateful for your contributions, they are attributed through the page history, not on the page itself.
  • Sources. All Wikipedia articles need to have reliable sources confirming the information. If you have books or newspaper articles about Sonia Vihar to hand, please cite them in the article. I've written a basic guide to sourcing here, which might be worth a look.

If you need help, please drop me a line on my talkpage or ask for assistance at the Teahouse - we're happy to lend a hand. Yunshui  09:26, 12 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I've noticed that you have been adding your signature to some of your edits to articles, such as the edit you made to Sonia Vihar. This is a common mistake to make and has probably already been corrected. Please do not sign your edits to article content, as the article's edit history serves the function of attributing contributions, so you only need to use your signature to make discussions more readable, such as on article talk pages or project pages such as the Village Pump. If you would like further information about distinguishing types of pages, please see What is an article?. Again, thank you for contributing, and enjoy your Wikipedia experience! Thank you. Kindly do not add your name to the article space as well, as the article history serves the purpose of attribution. Amartyabag TALK2ME 15:22, 13 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Sonia Vihar, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Established and Ghaziabad (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Sonia Vihar, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Amartyabag TALK2ME 06:38, 17 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
