Potential page about play

Hi,

I want to publish a page about Bloody Difficult Women — a play by critic and journalist Tim Walker — about Gina Miller and former Prime Minister, Theresa May, on to Wikipedia before the play re-opens next month in Scotland.

Given that you seem interested in theatre, I thought you may wish to create a page about this particular play instead.

I have prepared the text and references, which I am happy to share with you in case you would like to create a page about the aforementioned theatrical masterpiece.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes 2A02:C7C:5B13:3F00:BD87:4F44:C9F:5D37 (talk) 13:13, 11 July 2022 (UTC)

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Temperate continental climate. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – :Humid continental climate. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at :Humid continental climate. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. An edit you made a long time ago

Hello, it turns out that this AWB edit you made in March 2008 to the Lewis Temple article helped to cement the longest-lasting recorded vandalism to an article! See the vandalism records section and the accompanying footnote for more details. That was an incredibly improbable string of events that likely wouldnt happen today. I can understand why AWB did what it did there, but maybe you should've checked the article history a bit more closely ... what's done is done now. Graham87 10:13, 13 October 2022 (UTC)

Well thank you for criticising me for a minor mistake I let slip through 14 years ago, whilst I was making a number of improvements to that article which you chose not to mention, let alone thank me for. You really know how to encourage another editor to not bother any more. Colonies Chris (talk) 14:55, 13 October 2022 (UTC).
I don't consider breaking a URL like that (especially to a reference) to be a minor mistake; on a scale of 1 to 10 (in the scheme of vandalism) I'd give it about a 4 or 5, maybe more because of how strongly Wikipedia's credibility relies on its references and its rarity (the only example I can think of is [this editor). I honestly didn't even notice your improvements to the article (which were indeed many) because I was concentrating on its pre-vandalism state; this diff between its pre-vandalism state and your edit shows that your only actual improvement to the article in the long run (compared to just a plain revert) was a better stub tag. Better you hadn't responded at all than with this nasty mean-spirited reply. You're banned from my talk page from now on. Colonies Chris (talk) 21:34, 13 October 2022 (UTC)

Tennis and AWB

I came across your edits today and I just wanted to point out that it looks like you have a typo in your fixes for Miljan Zekić where you are leaving out the letter M while fixing the links from no diacritic to the diacritic version. I've fixed a few of them for you but figured it might be easier for you to find and fix the rest. Thanks. Adamtt9 (talk) 12:19, 24 October 2022 (UTC)

Thanks for spotting this. I've fixed my regex. There don't appear to be any remaining instances of "iljan Zekić", so thanks for fixing them all. Colonies Chris (talk) 12:25, 24 October 2022 (UTC)
