Thank you for unblocking me, but I do not understand how I have to change my username? I read the "Changing Username" page but I cannot find anything about actually applying for a name change? I hope somebody reads this because I'm not even sure I'm supposed to post it on this page? I'm a little confused. When will I know that my username is changed and how will this affect my log in? Please help!

Request reason:

I understand how my Cleanoceanproject page could have been perceived as overly enthusiastic or publicity. I would like to adjust my text to a more neutral tone. I'm passionate about ocean preservation and the NGO inspired me a lot. CleanOceanProject is no different from the partner organisations Oceana and Surfrider Foundation who are also non-profit. But I see why my choice of words may have triggered the "publicity alert". If only I could be unblocked and re-do the article, I assure you it will be in another tone of voice. I would like to contribute to these NGO's for ocean preservation by providing accurate information about how they work. I'm convinced that many people have the wrong idea of how these kinds of platforms work to protect the ocean. I'm guilty for trying to make people like Clean Ocean Project as much as I do, but I will not make the same mistake again.

Accept reason:

Allowing username change to requested username. Please put this request in at Wikipedia:Changing username as soon as possible to avoid re-blocking. Daniel Case (talk) 18:03, 22 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

A tag has been placed on your sandbox, User:CleanOceanProject/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service, and which is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages. If you can indicate why the page is not blatant advertising, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this:   which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted.
