We are talking about a Universal Gazetteer of the early 19th century. I am sure you are not a historian. But it must take into account that when this book was printed there was a very limited number of Gazetteers in the world. I think this entry should be expanded but not deleted. Why don’t you check in the external link attached and see for yourself what sort of book we are talking about.

: I do not doubt that it's an important book, but the article as it stands now does not provide ant context or assertion of notability, both key principles for Wikipedia articles.
