October 2022 edit
Hi Cjdroberts! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Charles Babbage that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Throast {{ping}} me! - @Throast The edit was minor, the adding of a minor reference. The reference was hugely important as it was one of Babbage's earliest ventures into Science. It was Babbage's keen interest in Astronomy and Navigation, and its mathematics that led to his development of the Difference Engine followed by his Analytical Engine. 213.205.196.188 (talk) 14:04, 8 October 2022 (UTC)
