Hey, Waz up? edit

If anybody is willing to give help or you just want to talk feel free.

(tips are useful)

P.S. How do you add pictures on the page???

All you have to do is upload the image and then place this [[Image:<Image_Name|<# of pixels> px|thumb|Description]] That's about it! Cheers. ImperatorExercitus (talk) 20:43, 22 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

My Notes edit

Uploading pictues:

TOOLBOX: Alright, go to the very left of the internet provider (ex. Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc). Then, in the middle, there's a box called "search", where you type in where you want to look for. Below the "Go" button, there's an "interaction" box, with "About Wikipedia", Community Portal, and such. Below that box is the "toolbox". :) If you still can't find it, just use Firefox and Ctrl-F (find) and type "Upload File". That's it! (Talk) 19:26, 23 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

To ImperatorExercitus edit

I now have realized how to create the Main Menu (even though it was auto-matic and I just failed to realize that) but I just thought I would say that I now realized how useful having the archiving robot of death after I took another glance at J.delanoy's talk page.

Also... I am greatfully sorry on how I would keep nagging at you to get answers when I could ask someone who is not as busy so now I will be sure to go to someone else first (unless otherwise notified)

--Ciscokid21 (talk) 20:29, 17 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

No...I apologise for not being able to help you out as much as I should. Unfortunately, I've been rather busy; either reverting vandalism, finishing AP Physics homework, with no time to check my talk page at all. Sorry for the inconveniences. PS. Nice to see how you're rolling about! Good job! Cheers. Imperat§ r(Talk) 00:37, 16 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

BTW, you always inquired about the menus. You might want to take a look at this. Any questions? Simply contact me at my Talk page! Cheers. Imperat§ r(Talk) 00:42, 16 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

To J. Delanoy edit

I am curious how you changed the [edit] to Make a move... on your chess board as you can see there is that problem with mine at my chess board (goto)

Fixed. Just look at the diff for this edit, towards the top. J.delanoygabsadds 20:31, 18 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
srry I guess I failed to realize where this edit is and now I can't see the "Make a move..." Could you show me this edit or just edit it yourself. thnx
Oh. I put my chess game on a subpage and transcluded it through. I've got to do homework now, but I'll take a look when I can. J.delanoygabsadds 21:25, 18 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
Oh, okay I guess I'll just wait and see but will anybody be able to edit it?
Okay I kinda Figged it out but If you could make it with the same "Make a move..." as you had, I would greatly appreciated.
Ya, about that... Ollie Fury Contribs has taken care of that already so no worries (feel free to make a move!) <(^,^)>

Your Chessboard edit

I think the solution is to create a new subpage for your chess game, like User:Ciscokid21/Chess. Then place {{User:Ciscokid21/Chess}} on your talk page and it will be transcluded. Then add a link like this: Make a move... and you will have your 'Make a Move'. Ollie Fury Contribs 22:28, 18 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi. I'm unsure as to what you want. Would you like your chessboard to be exactly like J.delanoy's with a subpage trabscluded to your talk page? I'll move as well. Ollie Fury Contribs 22:36, 18 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Done. Check out User:Ciscokid21/chess. When someone move a piece, the board on your talk page will be automatically updated. I've made a move as well. I hope that's alright. Ollie Fury Contribs 22:43, 18 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

For your game... (to J. Delanoy) edit

I would recommend moving your rook to F4...

No. fxg2, then the White are in big trouble. Kh2 is a better option.-- Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 17:05, 19 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
If I did Rf4, he would end up capturing my rook no matter what. He would end up with a queen above me, a rook above me, or possibly both. J.delanoygabsadds 17:09, 19 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
I know, but a rook is worth 5 pawns and a queen is worth nine. If I did what you suggested, I would lose 5 points (a rook) and gain nothing, and he would lose 7 points (rook and two pawns) and gain 9 (when he queened his pawn). And considering that it would then be he and his queen against me and my knight, I would then resign at that point. I may still resign, but I don't know. Chess edit

Thanks for the chess info. It's way over my head at the moment (I would probably need to be a J.DelaBot or a ninth-grader myself to figure it out!) but I really appreciate your taking the time to point me in the right direction!--otherlleft (talk) 21:05, 20 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

WikiProjects edit

You asked J.Delanoy about how to start a WikiProject. It's not actually tough to start one, but most of the ways that editors work together are already created. Most of the new proposals so narrow that it's tough to get enough editors involved to do much, and they end up becoming inactive and being deleted.

That being said, what are your biggest areas of interest? I'd be happy to help you find a WikiProject to become of member of - I'm sure you'd be a big help for any that you decided to join!--otherlleft (talk) 23:16, 20 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

My Idea (wikiprojects) edit

To create a Wikipedia with video and audio for the people who have certian disabilities (people who have trouble reading and people who cannot understand an article as easily as others) you can sign up to support my idea here or you can just see the page I posted here

That's a nice sig! Do you know to implement it? Oliver Fury, Esq. message • contributions 22:46, 8 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
OK! First you need to create a subpage such as User:Ciscokid21/signature and then paste your signature there (nothing else!). Then go to your preferences, and type {{subst:User:Ciscokid21/signature}} into the signature box. Remember to tick the box underneath! After this, when you add four tildes (~~~~), you should get your sig. I hope this helps! Oliver Fury, Esq. message • contributions 22:54, 8 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Hopefully, it will work,

Have you ticked the little box? Oliver Fury, Esq. message • contributions 21:44, 9 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Do you know that your link to your talk page is before the link to your user page- is it meant to be like that? It's a good sig- do like my new one? Oliver Fury, Esq. message • contributions 21:50, 9 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
I've got a quick tip. Try to indent new comments on talk pages by typing a colon (:). Two colons will indent twice, three will indent three times etc. If you do this, it is clearer to see where one post ends and another starts. Thanks for your opinion on my sig! Would you link to sign my guestbook?- you can see lots of other shiny signatures! Oliver Fury, Esq. message • contributions 22:05, 9 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, I've just noticed that you've been here since 2007, with quite a bit of inactivity! What do you think of all those other signatures? Oliver Fury, Esq. message • contributions 22:19, 9 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
