Welcome!

Hello ChrisOwensBoston, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

At Wikipedia, new Users do not automatically receive a welcome; not even a machine-generated welcome. Welcome messages come from other Users. They are personal and genuine. They contain an offer of assistance if such assistance is ever desired.

I suggest to everyone I welcome that they may find some of the following helpful — there’s nothing personal in my suggestion and you may not need any of them:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome! Dolphin (t) 05:30, 27 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Spin (flight) edit

Hello Chris. Thank you for taking an interest in Wikipedia's coverage of spinning. Your re-organization of the article appears to have removed a substantial amount of text that was supported by in-line citations to allow independent verification of the material. (See WP:VERIFY.) Your re-organization also appears to have added new text that is not supported by in-line citations. For this reason I have reverted your re-organization. There are many editors who take an interest in this article and they will be interested to see your views on what needs to be changed or removed, and what new areas should be covered. Feel free to discuss your ideas about what needs to be changed at the article's Discussion page - see Talk:Spin (flight). If you think a major re-organization is required I suggest you start a new thread on the Discussion page. Dolphin (t) 05:57, 26 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
