Ѡikipedia edit

Hi Chris, I appreciate what you were trying to do with this redirect. However, the consensus at Redirects for Discussion has been not to have redirects from words where the first letter has been replaced with a similar-looking letter from a foreign characterset. Yes, this has actually been discussed before! See Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2010 January 6 for three such discussions (encompassing many redirects) under the headings Βeta, Аugust 2, and Χylophone. I would probably nominate this for deletion, but I wonder if you'd consider tagging it {{db-author}} instead. Thanks, and all the best—  Glenfarclas  (talk) 09:15, 31 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Medieval Greek edit

Hello, thanks a lot for your effort with expanding Medieval Greek from its German counterpart. Unfortunately there were too many problems with the wiki markup – mostly because you mixed up the "{}" characters required for template and table codes with simple "()" brackets – and I found I couldn't easily fix those right now. As it stood, the article looked just too chaotic, so I have reverted it to the prior version, for the time being. I'm afraid there were also problems with the English, which would have taken some work to correct.

I do appreciate your efforts though – the German article is a fine model and we should definitely try to incorporate some of it. I'll have another look later and see if I can help. Fut.Perf. 11:03, 13 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
