Thank you.

The article Saama Technologies, Inc has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 19:06, 28 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Saama Technologies, Inc edit

A tag has been placed on Saama Technologies, Inc requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Stop edit

It's pretty obvious from Google that you have a connection with Saama Technologies, if you continue trying to create articles promoting this company then you may be blocked for conflict of interest. Guy (Help!) 20:42, 28 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Copyright violation brings deletion edit

The first sentence of User:Chowdharyramineni/Saama Technologies read Saama Technologies, Inc is a pure-play business intelligence solution provider that has revolutionized the way organizations make decisions through business intelligence. This was "sourced" -- to this page, which tells us (amid much else): Saama Technologies, Inc. is a pure-play business intelligence solution provider that has revolutionized the way organizations make decisions through business intelligence. So that wasn't "sourced", it was copied. The page from which you copied also tells us: © 2010 BioMedReports.com. All rights reserved. When you posted this stuff to Wikipedia you agreed that Content that violates any copyrights will be deleted. Because it violated copyright, I have just now deleted it.

Aside from its copyright status, it's completely unsuitable for Wikipedia, being written in the gushy style of vapid press releases taken seriously by nobody other than their authors. -- Hoary (talk) 02:51, 29 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
