Disputed fair use rationale for Image:ColumbiaC103.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:ColumbiaC103.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 20:18, 29 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

7 Joys edit

Did he do a cut-and-paste move? If so, he or you should ask an admin to do it properly, to keep the licence stuff correct. Johnbod (talk) 13:48, 31 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Burl Ives edit

Hello. Thank you for bringing the Penn Glee Club award of merit link in the Burl Ives article to my attention. The link has been updated. Thank you. Rob S. (talk) 03:00, 5 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ramism edit

Thanks for the bibliography at Ramism - not the easiest topic to cover in our style! I see you're interested in Abraham Fraunce. I'll get round to adding him to the list of Ramists, there - again, not so easy to compile a representative and referenced list. Charles Matthews (talk) 11:03, 9 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hello. You might check out Fraunce's "A Brief and General Comparison of Ramus His Logic with That of Artistotle." It takes the form of a debate between two Cambridge pedants, with Sidney as the judge. Chironomia (talk) 07:16, 10 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Burl Ives edit

I think the red links should be removed from the albums section until articles are created. I also think the discography should be formatted into a table and chart positions should be added. Eric444 (talk) 10:27, 30 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hello again edit

I've been working on the remaining KJV translators, and I came across an addition of yours at William Thorne (orientalist), and mentioning Richard Eedes, whose article I shall create in a moment. Eedes was nominated as a translator, but died towards the end of 1604 before the project had really started. I thought you might want to reconsider how you put that.
